X - RAYS

X-rays / Radiographs are a type of radiation called electromagnetic waves. It is a basic diagnostic with multiple uses. The images show the parts of your body in different shades of black and white. Calcium in bones absorbs x-rays the most, so bones look white. Fat and other soft tissues absorb less and look gray.

It is used to rule out fractures in trauma, infections or heart enlargement in the chest, intestinal obstruction or kidney calculi in the abdomen, etc. Special contrast studies are also done in X-Ray for varied purposes.

MAMMOGRAM:

Mammography is the process of using low-energy X-rays to examine the human breast for diagnosis and screening. The goal of mammography is the early detection of breast cancer, typically through the detection of characteristic masses or micro calcifications.

Breast cancer detected early is completely curable. Across India, every woman over 35 years of age should undergo regular Mammograms to screen for breast cancer.  

One in 8 women diagnosed with breast cancer lose their lives because of late detection and hesitancy in undergoing a mammogram. Our mammogram machines are completely digital and painless to pinpoint abnormalities. We also do routine ultrasound screening for all X-Ray mammograms to help your stress-free life X-Ray.
